Concerning: The claimant on behalf of herself and members of the Phillips, Cooper, Edmonds and Pou whanau, alleges to be prejudicially affected by the Maori Trustee Act 1953, the Local Government Act 1974 and legislation related to the making and levying of rates. Furthermore, she alleges to have been prejudicially affected by policies and practices adopted on behalf of the Crown by the Office of the Maori Trustee. The claim relates particularly to the Te Pua 2B Block which was formerly part-owned by Moetahi Rau Phillips, the claimant's mother.
The claimant requests that the relevant parts of the land in the Te Pua 2B block which are not in private ownership be returned to Maori ownership. Furthermore, the claimant requests that the names of the children of Moetahi Phillips, and the members of the Edmonds and Pou whanau, be entered on the records of the Maori Trustee as the rightful owners of the parts of land in Te Pua 2B that are identified as being the land formerly owned by Moetahi Phillips
