Today the Waitangi Tribunal launched its refreshed website. The new website was designed by digital design agency Alphero, in partnership with Tātou consultancy to be visually engaging, user friendly and intuitive, allowing users to track inquiry progress and search for information, documents and reports more effectively and efficiently. It now also features a language-toggle component for the website to be accessible in te reo Māori.
The design and layout is strongly influenced by concepts of mana tangata and kaitiakitanga. The project was managed by the Ministry of Justice Digital team in collaboration with the Tribunal Unit.
