In particular the claimants allege that they were prejudicially affected by:
* being alienated as a hapu from their lands, forests, waters and resources;
* suffering the loss of relevance and reference to Ngati Tutakamoana as a hapu by their direct descendants; and
* their relationships and whanaungatanga with other Te Rohe Potae hapu being historically affected.
